GCH Fishmongers is a finalist in Bedfordshire Business Awards 2016!

GCH Fishmongers is proud to announce it has been shortlisted for Best Business in Bedfordshire Business Awards 2016.

The awards – launched by Bedfordshire on Sunday and sponsored by Barclays – recognise the hardworking local businesses achieving success in our community.

From almost 200 entries, category judges have whittled the entrants down to the final three.

Just one business will walk away with each prestigious title come the gala awards evening in November.

Gary Hooper, Managing Director of GCH Fishmongers, said: ‘We’re really proud to get to the finals after only trading for just over a year, it shows great commitment from all our staff to quality and customer service’

Sarah Cox, editor of Bedfordshire on Sunday, said: “We are thrilled to have received such fantastic entries in our very first year launching BoS’ Bedfordshire Business Awards. It just goes to show how many dedicated and successful business we have operating in this county.

“The standard is exceptionally high and we wish our worthy finalists all the very best of luck.”

The final decision will be made by a panel of core judges and winners will be announced on the night of the glittering awards ceremony, which takes place at Bedford Corn Exchange on November 17.

Winners will receive extensive coverage in Bedfordshire on Sunday newspaper and online at bedfordshire-news.co.uk over the coming year.

The core judging panel is comprised of: Cheryl Smart, Chief Executive of Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce; Sarah Cox, Editor of BoS; Richard Duxbury, Managing Director of LSN Media); Richard Fuller, MP for Bedford and Kempston and a member of the government’s business select committee; and Donna Minnett, area manager for headline sponsor, Barclays.
